(Business Day) Transforming Justice Through Innovation

Today’s publication in BusinessDay felt like an important moment on this journey of justice reform. Speaking with Daniel Obi gave me space to explain why the future of our justice system must bring technology, administration, and policy into one stream of progress.

Our system still struggles with delays, manual processes, and limited data. Yet it also holds real promise. Young innovators are eager to solve problems. Institutions are beginning to adopt new tools. Partners across government and the private sector are stepping up. The interview captured how these efforts connect and why our work must continue to bridge these gaps.

JusticeTechNG is one example of what is possible when collaboration becomes a habit rather than an event. It shows that innovation can support judges, lawyers, law enforcement, and correctional services. It shows that talent exists across Nigeria. It shows that technology can strengthen administration and deepen public trust.

My focus remains simple. A justice system that works faster. A justice system that works smarter. A justice system that serves people with fairness and clarity. And a justice system where reform is not a headline but a routine part of governance.
